Shirtless Scott Porter’s best known role was as Jason Street on the Emmy Award TV series Friday Night Lights. His character was inspired by David Edwards, a real life, talented, football player, who, after an injury during a game, was left paralyzed from the shoulders down. Film credits include a co-starring role in the 2007 release Music and Lyrics, and, in 2009 the role of Ben Wheatley in Bandslam. Porter appeared in several episodes of The Good Wife during the 2010-2011 season, and can currently be seen on a new series called Hart of Dixie.
