Robert De Niro began his acting career more than 45 years ago. In that time he has done more than 75 films and been nominated for four Best Actor Oscars and won one for Best Actor in Raging Bull, and one for Best Supporting Actor in The Godfather Part II. Among his most famous film roles are: Vito Corleone in The Godfather Part II, Jake LaMotta in Raging Bull, Travis Bickle in Taxi Driver, Michael in The Deer Hunter, Jack Walsh in Midnight Run, Leonard Lowe in Awakenings and Max Cady in Cape Fear. De Niro is an enormously talented actor who has played bad guys, scary guys, serious guys, and funny guys.
More recently, he has starred in the film Limitless, to be released March 18, 2011, and co-starred with Jason Statham in the action film The Killer Elite which hasn’t, as yet, been released.
