Shirtless Michael Cera’s acting debut came in 1999 in the Canadian television series I Was a Sixth Grade Alien. This was followed by guest appearances on several Canadian TV series episodes. His first film credit was as Gordy Jr. in the US film Frequency. In 2002 he was cast as the young Chuck Barris in the biographical film Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, based on the memoir of game show personality Chuck Barris. Cera played the role of George-Michael Bluth from 2003-2006 on the comedy series Arrested Development, and, as Sal Viscuso on Children’s Hospital from 2008-2010.
