Although he was born in Italy, Shirtless Joel McHale was in the Seattle area. Shortly after graduating from high school he became a member of a local Seattle sketch comedy TV show called Almost Live. He then made appearances on episodes of CSI: Miami, Will & Grace and Pushing Daisies. He is currently the host, and sometimes producer/writer of Talk Soup as well as the lead character in the comedy series Community.
