Nude Peter Krause was a pre-med student before he turned to acting.  He appeared in several films and television episodes before landing the role of “Nate Fisher” in Six Feet Under.  Originally audition for the role of “David Fisher” because he was impressed by the role’s human rights message.   Krause was chosen, instead to play “Nate” because producer Alan Ball saw a discernible chemistry with Rachel Griffiths who played the part of “Brenda Chenowith”.  He was with the show from 2001-2005.  He plays the lead character “Nick George” in Dirty Sexy Money.
