Originally audition for the role of “David Fisher” because he was impressed by the role’s human rights message. Krause was chosen, instead to play “Nate” because producer Alan Ball saw a discernible chemistry with Rachel Griffiths who played the part of “Brenda Chenowith”. He was with the show from 2001-2005. He plays the lead character “Nick George” in Dirty Sexy Money.
