Jared Leto’s Biography: Leto’s hobbies include snowboarding, skateboarding, hiking, writing songs, reading, and painting.
In 1994 he landed a role in the TV show My So-Called Life in which he played Jordan Catalano. Leto has acted in several films such as How to Make an American Quilt, Girl, Interrupted, Urban Legend, The Thin Red Line, Prefontaine and Fight Club, among others. His portrayal of heroin addict Harry Goldfarb in Darren Aronofsky’s Requiem for a Dream in the year 2000, gained him his most critical praise. In the same year he portrayed a misfortuned yuppie in American Psycho. In 2002 he appeared in Panic Room, then in Highway. His next appearance was opposite Colin Farrell in Alexander (2004), and later with Nicolas Cage in Lord of War (2005). Leto gained 60 pounds for his role in Chapter 27. He is set to star in the film Mr. Nobody, to be released in May of 2009.
