Bio: Willis’ trade mark is his shaven head and he says, “Hair loss is God’s way of telling me I’m human.” He is also known for the roles that h e plays. His characters have often suffered a tragedy, lost something or had a crisis of confidence or conscience.
Willis is a two-time Emmy Award-winning and Golden Globe Award-wining actor. In 1987 he won for Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor – Drama Series in the show Moonlighting. In the same year he won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Television Series Musical or Comedy, also for Moonlighting. In 2000, Willis won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor – Comedy Series for his appearance on the show Friends.
One of his first film roles was Blind Date in 1987. His breakthrough film was Die Hard in 1988. He also starred in the three following Die Hard films. Some other very successful films that Willis has appeared in are The Sixth Sense (1999), The Whole Nine Yards (2000) its sequel The Whole Ten Yards (2004), Perfect Stranger (2007), and Blues Travler (2008). Willis is currently working on several films. He will star in the comedy film, Assassination of a High School President, where he will portray a Catholic school principal.
